I’m committed to making Sheffield prosper.
My kids are growing up here, I grew up here; the place is special I have a passion about Sheffield and I want to contribute to keeping it that way. When something has a place in your heart, you want the best for it, whether it’s your partner, your pet or your city. What R3D2 does helps businesses to grow. That’s a powerful thing, and power can be good or bad. But it’s my mission to use that power to grow local businesses. When local business grows, the local economy flourishes. (I’ll stop saying local now so I don’t sound too League of Gentlemen-ly.)
Sheffield has had our share of trials and tribulations, that, at the time, I felt frustratingly helpless about; that really pained me. So now I can do something, I want to use those experiences to give back. If you spend money with an independent shop, twice as much money will stay in the local economy than if you were to buy from a chain. By helping grow brands via Social media, we can really swing the pendulum back in the favour of independents, and that’s only going to be good for Sheffield; you can’t ask for much more than that!
Our team is based here…
Our team is based here, which means that by focusing on Sheffield, we can do what we do best; give our great FQF (flexible, quality, friendly) service, which is the backbone of what we do. Sheffield is full of great places to take our clients, meet new businesses and, perhaps most importantly, have fun! Too many meetings happen at big chain coffee shops – but you’ll find R3D2 at places like: Tamper Coffee, Steamyard, The Grind or The Depot Bakery to name but a few.
Last, but by no means least, Sheffield is a big part of our identity. We know we’ll always have Sheffield in common with businesses in Sheffield. Knowing the specific kind of person that’s attracted to Sheffield with its people-centric, honest, down-to-earth nature; I treasure that immensely.
